Please give us a Junundu PvP arena in Nightfall!
I, for one, would like this as much as roller beetle racing. (Which should also have its own racing arena, with more than one track). While ideas like "worm rider" would be neat for titles, if there was a Junundu arena, it should just give points towards the 'Skillz' title.
At the very least, a weekend event of junundu pvp!

Junudu raes won't be a really good idea, but a challenge mission with 8 junundu ridesr in each side could prove fun.
Maybe in an event.
Something like the... Palawa's Broadwalk, XD.

a Wurm PvP arena would be a bad idea because every person has the exact same skill bar.

Ummm TERRIBLE. It would never end. Wurms can't be knocked down, so half their skills can't be used on them. All team members would have a super res known as Junundu's Wail, making it IMPOSSIBLE for the fight to ever end.

You guys are totally missing the point. The wurm res could easily be taken out, the consume corpse could be replaced with two skills, and the bar reorganized. Not to mention the wurms themselves have no armor, so the skills will do full damage no problem.
And enko, in festival pvp arenas, everyone ALWAYS has the exact same skill bar, and the same stats.

How about, depending on your profession, you get a different "breath" skill? Mesmers and rangers get the interrupt breath, Ele and Paragon get the fire breath, uh... forget what the other ones are, lol, but you get the point. That would be kinda neat, like in Snowball Arena.

Monster Wurms can't, but do don't really know if Junundu Wurms can? Are you sure? Are you positive? Hm...
Junudu weapon attacks are armor ignoring, and depend on weapon euiped by the character.
Junundu Wail does not work with enemies near. If you are near an enemy dead junudu, you become a frozen soil spirit for him.
And Remember that Junundu are EXTREMELY weak against earth damage, most of Junudu skills deal earth damage.
And, of course, there would be spurs in the arena.
People would start out of the junundu, like in Shajala, and there will be some spurs in the arena. People would have to enter them.
Most of the arena would be sulfuric sands, but people could go out.

While I think something done with the Junundu could be cool... I don't think this is it.
The only really cool way to do this is to enter a seasonal type of Challenge Mission where 4-8 players stand off againsts waves and waves of monsters of randomized balance and make-up. Each succeeding horde is stronger than the previous and players would have a countdown as a limit. This set up would require planning repeated knockdowns and identifying key monsters of the random group to kill first.
This sort of idea utilizes the strong points of the Junundu worms while introducing a new variety of play.

I would like to see something more done with the wurms but i dont know about an arena. I am not against it but I am not sure how well it would work. maybe a test weekend where you can try it out. The dragon arena was silly. one hit kills everyone had the same skills. BUT lots of people participated in them, myself included. Why? because silly or not they were kinda fun. I liked the idea of each proff getting a special skill or two. this would make it a little harder on the players. also as far as wail goes, make it a kill count arena and it doesnt matter how many times they res, you get to 20-50 or how ever many kills you win. Also making rocky areas where you have to be human could balance the field. You switch you get all the great skills you love to pvp in but the wurms can sit way back and bash you with siege. it would be interesting to see.

Good idea, the arena would have several wurm spoors, two res shrine bases on opposite ends, and a large sulfur pit in the middle. PLayers would have to rush to the wurm spoor first, get in their junundu, then go fight each other. If a player is killed while in junundu form, a countdown shows up for that player to respawn (say 10 seconds or something). If a wail isn't used to respawn them in that time, they revive back at the res shrine. THe PVP could be point based, points given on number of kills.
I think it'd be alot of fun.
